Our Supima cotton Charles Edward I Oxford Cloth Button-Down Shirt is named after our founder and creative director’s eldest brother, Charles Edward I. He graduated from Morehouse College, which is an academically elite Historically Black College and University (HBCU). It’s also the same alma mater as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Notably, the button-down shirt originated as a sports shirt worn by polo and tennis players from the mid-19th to the early 20th century.
